What Does It Offer?

  1. A well-equipped campsite that can sleep 15 adults or 20 children. No food is provided or cooked unless requested.

  2. Campsite is simple. Pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery are provided as well as clan water.  Cooking is done over an open raised campfire and on paraffin stoves.  Firewood is provided.  A camp shower and toilets are provided as well.

  3. Sleeping is on mattress on the floor of tents.  No sleeping bags or bedding provided.  The tents are insect proof as well as water proof.

  4. A K.I.M. staff member will always be on hand to guard the camp (night and day) as well as assist in daily chores such as lighting of fires and rubbish disposal, etc.

  5. A beautiful location near a large sycamore fig tree.  A beach with swimming and fishing.  Bird watching including that of resident fish eagles.

  6. An open air teaching area.

Residents:

Individuals
   300 k. shillings per night,
    children under 12, half price


School or church groups
 
  1500 k. shillings per group of 
    8 per night.  If meals provided,
    150 k. shillings extra per
    person per day 
    (includes a cook).

 

Non-residents:
Individuals
  
600 k. shillings (U.S.A. $11) per
    night, children under 12, half
    price.


School or church groups
  
2000 k. shillings (U.S.A. $35) per
    group of 8 per night.  If meals  
    provided, 400 k. shillings (U.S.A. $7) 
    extra per person per day 
    (includes a cook).
